Sharon Turner, CHE
Director

Sharon Turner joined the College as an instructor in 1983 and has seen the College through many phases and understands the key elements that lead to student success.

She holds a Diploma in Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Management from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario and has hotel experience in urban and resort locations with C.P. Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels and Windermere House.

Prior to joining the college she gained teaching experience with Fanshawe College and has earned the designation of Certified Hospitality Educator, CHE, from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.  She understands what is needed to provide a positive learning environment for students and has retained a qualified and caring faculty and staff.

Her professional affiliations include memberships to:   CHRIE, Council of Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Educators;  OTEC, Ontario Tourism Education Corporation  and OACC, Ontario Association of Career Colleges where she has been an active member of the Board of Directors.
