We are  approved to issue official tax receipts. Students enrolled in Registered Programs receive official tax receipts every February.

3. What are the entrance requirements?
The entrance requirements are Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature student status. Mature Student status includes students who are more than 19 years old and have been away from school for one year.  Local students also do an entrance test of basic mathematics and English and have an interview.

4. When can I write the entrance test?  Tests can be scheduled by appointment.

7. I have not been in school for a long time. Will I fit in and will I pass?
It is very common to feel nervous at first, however this apprehension goes away very soon! We usually have an averagea of 12 students in class and this makes for a very comfortable and supportive learning environment.  All your questions and concerns will be satisfied and you will soon feel more confident and comfortable. You will pick up the needed study habits quickly.

8. The programs seem very short.  Do I learn everything I need to know?
You learn more in our classrooms in a short time because there are usually only 12 students in the class, and it is easy to ask questions and learn from the questions of others. Your instructor has time to fully explain and help you each step of the way.  At the end of the day, you understand what was taught, as opposed to studying detail on your own outside of class.  Also, our lessons deal with relevant industry information only that will keep your interest. General education study is not included.

9. How much homework is there?
You will have some reading assignments and some special assignments. The amount of time that you spend on your studies outside of class is very individual.  Many students spend no additional time, and others spend a few hours reviewing and studying.

You will be tested approximately every week, on the information presented that week.  Every month you will have an exam for the topic that month.
