Hotel Venue and History

The Constellation College of Hospitality was born in 1982 at the "Constellation Hotel" a major convention hotel in Toronto, Canada.  The program was designed with the full involvement of the hotel  management team who placed a high value on practical study. The College and its program was registered and approved as a private career college under the Ontario Private Career Colleges Act  Since then the College has maintained its focus of providing relevant academic and practical curriculum that allows our graduates to succeed in the industry.

Our Location:

We are located inside a Hotel!! The Best Western Roehampton Hotel and Suites, is beautiful  niche hotel that serves as a wonderful  venue for a Hospitality School. 

We are located in "Uptown" Toronto, Ontario,  a vibrant urban and residential area.  We are on beautiful Mount Pleasant Rd., at Eglinton, just steps from the Eglinton Subway Station.

You will find our offices and classrooms on the second floor.

MISSION STATEMENT

We are educators in the Hospitality Industry specializing in Hotel Studies.  Our aim is to prepare our students for career opportunities through education and training.  We emphasize practical applications and reflect the norms and the values of the industry in all we do.  Our Curriculum is relevant, and is delivered by qualified, caring instructors committed to student learning.  We encourage and reward achievement and effort, while striving to build confidence and self esteem in our students.

 Registered Private Career College: We are Registered and Approved as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act 2005.  You have the confidence in knowing that the Goverment of Ontario provides a high standard of protection for students in our Private Career Colleges.     See our Registration Certificate in the lobby. Our College is also a member of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges, and the National Association of Career College.  All member Colleges are bound by a Code of Ethics that is displayed in our lobby.

Small Class Sizes:  Usually classes are about 12 students, giving you very individual attention from your instructor.  You will not hesitate to ask questions, and you learn from the questions of others.  You will conclude each day feeling confident in the new information that you learned.  This results in making you more employable and  effective in your career.

Frequent Start Dates and Year Round Operation:  You can join almost any time.Classes start every month and continue throughout the year, with no summer break. This gives you the flexibility of having your education fit into your life!  Programs also conclude frequently, allowing graduates to complete for positions year round.

American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute:  We include learning material  and certificates from the AHLA in our Curriculum.  You have the opportunity to earn many AHLA Certificates also.   These credentials are known and recognized worldwide in the Hospitality Industry.

Life Long Placement and other Graduate Services:  The College boasts a very high graduate employment rate, see statistics for details.  You will receive assistance from our faculty to help you to  secure appropriate employment, now and in the future.  For those interested in further study we have many transfer credit agreements that will let you get credit for your studies towards a degree.

Transfer Credit:  Our program quality is recognized by many institutions of higher learning.  Graduates of our programs  gain credit for their studies  towards a degree.
